Do you remember that song that Bette Midler sang in the 90s, "From A Distance"?  It used to burn up the radio waves on all of the top 40 stations.  Now you can find it on any station named "Sunny". The premise of the song is awesome, but there's one line that I disagree with.  "From a distance, God is watching us".  My experience with the all powerful Creator of the universe is very different than that.

There Is No Plan B

I had several different majors in college.  This was because I had no real idea of what I wanted to do so I ended up with several Plan B's.  At the end of the day, I took none of them and became a pastor.  It took me a while to get around to letting go of everything that wasn't God's idea for my life.
